Help🙁 CFR

Okay, so I was going to report someone and I changed the name for the file so it was easier. At first, I changed it and it popped up a message saying something like "this file might become unusable" but then I figured out I forgot the .cfr. Then I was just messing around with it, I changed it to .exe... now the file won't change back into .cfr when I change the name.

Do you have any backups?

I don't believe it can be changed back.
