Alienware 14
Saw a video of the Alienware 14, and it could run Skyrim on Ultra. So is the the best choice? Mine arrives tomorrow, so i'm not sure if there's any laptop for less than that. Are there any laptops that can run games like Bf4 on ultra, but at a cheaper price?

Note: The Alienware 14 was 1k. Anything cheaper? I heard the Lenovo Y510 was better.
You bought Alienware?

First off you need to do this for buying an alien-ware.
Second, Go and return that overpriced heap of trash.
Third, go to ebay and search up the lenovo y510p, which is cheaper, lighter and better if you get the SLI edition.
That mean you can have 755m 4GB, that is fucking powerful.
I had the same issue 2 months ago, but I went with the samsung 7 series chronos NP700Z7c 650m 2GB and it runs very well.
Also it was cheap and can run everything from medium-high.
I got mine used on ebay for really cheap.

A quick description of Alienwares from a veteran techie:
Gawdy, unreliable, overpriced piles of shit.
Sorry to hear that you got an alienware at one stage i wanted one, this is when i was like 12 oooh flashy lights n shit, now i check the specs.. Utter rubbish for the price they sell at.

I had an acer aspire one of the newer models for a while, great laptop very cheap for its specs little issues.

Not all that impressive considering you can run CF on a toaster.

You can run CF on a wooden computer run by a hamster on his wheel. The Alienware 14 i have can run BF4 on Ultra settings i believe.

CSGO with max settings can run on toaster too?

Doesn't really take much to run Skyrim on Ultra....
Your best bet would be buying parts, instead of buy a overpriced machine...

AW - $1000+

Own Build - $600

You are basically buying more for the brand than the parts.

When and doubt always buy the parts before a prebuilt pc, almost anyone will tell you that, since its way cheaper.

No, but it's still only Mid to Low-High in terms of graphicall intensiveness.
A real test would be something like Crysis 3 or Metro Last Light.
