Not really, she didn't kill Armin when they first met because she was only focusing on getting Eren. However, she did kill the others because they attacked the titan or got in her way of reaching Eren and posed a threat towards her. She also left Reiner and Jean alone after they attacked her because while Reiner was in her hand, he carved letters into her palm which showed her that Eren was in the lower middle section of the formation (hence why she stared at her smoking palm after Reiner 'broke out' of her hand and why she started sprinting towards the middle). Not sure what you mean about Armin lying.
