    [math] let's see

Can you solve this and give me the right answers?

    Give me x and y
    m^2.x+m.y=2.m
    m.x+(m+2).y=m
I will post the answer tomorrow, I'm in fifth year of middle school and the mayority who stays at general is older or equally old. So let's see
There may or may not be hints in this text.
The answer of course has m in it and maybe has a parameter in it, for you to decide.
Well I screwed up the hints, I'm on my phone so yeah they're not hints I guess.

This looks like some sort of code to me rather than an equation. I hate maths :P

What does that have to do with math
I have a feeling this will end up being disappointing and just not clever..

Well it kinda is. You solve it by using matrix (don't know the plural form).

Well what does M stand for in this case? Mass? Same for X, if it has something to do with an equation then it would be helpful to know what the letters are referring to. I'm currently doing the highest course that you can get for maths over here (National 5 incase you're wondering) so forgive me if my mind is a little muddled up with all these stupid fucking things about the circumference of a circle relating to it's tangent and all this bullshit.

M and x are just unknown numbers (can't really say it in good English) well I'm 16-17 and also going to the highest math class and I just wanna know if there are some guys here to.

    Here's my suggestion.
Using substitution method, I first found x then replaced on 2nd equation the x for the value I found.

    Hope it's right.

    It's right, If I fill in the y in the x's answer I get my answer, so I have a second x and y tho. One where x = r(parameter) and y = 0.

What do you mean with a scientific calculator, sorry my English isn't so good in general and now we're speaking of math, certainly not.

Obviously you can't since you are not working with numbers but with variables.
You must write equations and make sure one of the sides of the equation has one variable and only that variable.
    Like I did before.
