Unlocking an iPhone

so, I ordered an unlocked iPhone off of amazon, and I got it today, took it to the european t-mobile, and the fucker isn't unlocked. It's still locked to AT&T who won't talk to me, because I'm not a current or past AT&T customer. Anybody know how to unlock an iPhone 5?

Jailbreak it and unlock it from there.

You cant do a factory unlock from a jailbreak, that I know of

You can Unlock it via iPad Baseband Unlock, But it's not worth it,

Best bet is to Pay for the Unlock online or Re-sell it.

So you bought the iPhone and they said it was unlocked but it came locked?
if I was you i would write a letter to AT&T and say you arent happy with what happend with you and that they lied to you (btw i think you can get your money back from this method to)

I believe the issue should be taken up with Amazon since that is where the phone was purchased from.

TBH Tell Amazon the exact seller, do a bit of SE'ing by telling them how fked up this is and how pissed you are and how you're going to stop using Amazon and tell everyone you know to buy off of eBay and you're going to take it too far by becoming a guy who destroys the world in 8 years but is stopped by some super hero.
