If i had to choose.
New = CoD Ghosts
Old = Thrillville ( When i was younger ), Unreal Tournament.

I been thinking about getting into CS:GO but im still ehh about it.

It depends on what genre honestly.
For RPG: Diablo 2 (though Planescape: Torment is a close second)
For FPS: CS:S (because for a game made in 2003, it's aged really well)
For single-player FPS: hahaha
