So, Your looking for better FPS in call of duty ghosts? You've come to the right place.
You may be looking for this because you either have the biggest monitor on earth, or you have a NVidia 500 series card, like me.

So, as we all know, Ghosts is possibly the worst game when it comes to stability. Well done IW.

GETTING BETTER FPS

-The first thing you can do is turn down your resolution. We both know you ain't doing S*** with that 1080p monitor of yours.
Turn it down to something like 1280x720 (720p) or if your feeling special, 1600x900 (900p).

-The next thing you want to be doing for better FPS is turning your s*** down. You ain't gonna be playing smoothly on those EXTRA or HIGH Settings. I know someone with a GTX 760 SC and he has to run it at medium to get 80 FPS.

-The Next thing you can do is wait for the patch. Infinity Ward have been talking about the patch that is coming out in a month or two for Ghosts. it will be fixing the stability issues (FPS) in the game and will give you higher FPS with weaker cards.

-The last thing you can do is start the game, tab out and open task manager, go to the "process'" tab, find iw6mp64_ship.exe then right click, set priority, normal. For some reason, infinity ward made the game demand high priority, this is using more of your pc.

I have a Gefore 630 2GD DDR3 and i get 91 FPS on Medium settings with Most stuff enabled

But only on certain maps

Yea, if you have a series 600 card, like you do, you can easily get 91 FPS. 91 FPS is the FPS Cap, It's Stupid.

I'm almost done typing it

I got gtx 760 and it's a lag fest.

I got gtx 780 @1060 on a rig with 4770k with all core set @4300 and no difference btwn low setting and Hi with 1080p resolution, even FPS is the same...

This new patch came out & game runs fine all of a sudden for me on maxed out settings 1080P
GTX 690
i7 3770K
16 GB RAM

i run with everything maxed with a gtx 660ti and i get 90-100fps all the time.. but sometimes my driver crashes and computer ends up rebooting :/

If that happens alot, you may be better off re-installing old drivers.

I have a GTX 560 1GB and settings through nvidia geforce experience, mine is a constant 91 fps the game runs very smoothly.
