Tutorial: How to setup your own Call of Duty cracked server


1. Instalation

Requirements:

(*) Call of duty Modern warfare ( off course )

(*) a good computer that run the server
you dont need a superfast pc the best is to run the server on a pc that you dont use

(*) the call of duty patch file
( in attachment or the server is not cracked and you need a offical key to play on your server

(*) Xfire
recommed to test your server

(*) Call of duty 1.7 patch
most of people have this patch and you have more players on your server

2. Portforwarding

This step is only if you have wireless internet!
if you have lan go to step 3

you must forward these ports:

UDP / TCP 20800
UDP / TCP 20810
UDP / TCP 28960
UDP / TCP 28961

3. Setting up the parameters

Some usefull parameters:

first parameter : +set dedicated
first we must start up our call of duty server in dedicated mode
what is dedicated mode:
dedicated mode is that the server startup with console and dont startup normal

dedicated 0 is only local ( for your pc )
dedicated 1 is only over lan ( for pc in your network )
dedicated 2 is over internet ( what we use

example : "D:\ACTIVISION\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\iw3mp.exe" +set dedicated 2



second parameter : +set fs_game
This parameter is only if you want to use mods in your game like gunmod or promod or whatever

example : "D:\ACTIVISION\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\iw3mp.exe" +set fs_game mods/promod


Third parameter : +exec
this parameter is to execute your server config in your server

example : "D:\ACTIVISION\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\iw3mp.exe" +exec server.cfg


last paramater : +map_rotate
this is the importants parameter if you dont have this parameter the server won't work

now if you have all parameters you get this:

first make a new shortcut with if you want a ranked server ( no mods )

"C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\iw3mp.exe" +set dedicated 2 +exec server.cfg +map_rotate


if you want to have a modded server

"C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\iw3mp.exe" +set dedicated 2 +set fs_game mods/YOURMOD +exec server.cfg +map_rotate



Setup your server


Now the real work comes
setup and configure your server


configure your server.cfg:

first: download in attachment

then you must edit some important things

:

sets sv_hostname "Your Server Name"
sets _Admin "admin"
sets _Email "admin@yoursite.com"
sets _Website "http://www.yoursite.com"
sets _Location "US"
sets _Irc ""
sets _Mod "If you have mods ( other leave blank )"
sets _ModVer "1.0"
sets _ModUpdate "make blank"
sets _Maps "make blank"
set scr_motd "If you have mods ( other leave blank )"

// Network options
//set net_ip "Your IP" // Set your servers IP address
//set net_port "28960" // Set your port number

// Server Network Mode
set dedicated "2" // 0 = Listen, 1 = LAN, 2 = Internet


IMPORTANT :

// Password Settings
set rcon_password "somepass" // SET YOUR PASSWORD OR EVERYONE CAN IN YOUR SERVER
set sv_privatePassword "" // Private slots, non-public slots


Optional :

Install mods

You want a server with mods: it can be fun but make sure your server will be unranked

how do you install mods

search on google for cod4 mods or whatever to find mods

some popular mods:
promod
gunmod
modwarfare
reign of the undead


ok you have your mod then make a new folder in your call of duty folder

like mods

Example:

"D:\ACTIVISION\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\mods\

then make another map with your modname
then paste all the folders of the mod in that map


then you must have the parameter in step 2

"C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\iw3mp.exe" +set dedicated 2 +set fs_game mods/YOURMOD +exec server.cfg +map_rotate

copy it in your shortcut




make sure your own upload speed is not high and can make some lag in the game

for that we have this : the redirect settings
this is to download the mod from a webserver like your own

you can upload the mods to a free webhost just search there are enouch

redirect :

in your server config you have this command:
seta sv_wwwBaseURL "http://www.jouw_redirectspace.nl/redirectfolder"

by redirect must be come mods or whatever your folder on your webhost is called

i got problem of Key code in use
is there any solution

How to create a cracked server..? Is there any special key I had to use in MULTIPLAYER options..? Coz wen I create a server and then tell my friend to connect to it through the INTERNET.. Its showing "Keycode in use. Try Re-connecting later!" error..! Please help me to make a cracked server!!! I tried to change my key but still no changes..!!
