After that whole freedom hosting shit about 80% of Tor related stuff is now run under the FBI. All black market/illegal porn sites have been shut down and if you try to access them you will be monitored.

To be honest most of the deep web sites people go to aren't actually very deep. You can find a lot of the same sites and services on normal www, and many of them aren't monitored.

After Heartbleed and NSA, you'd be crazy to go on TOR if you live in the USA.
