Well considering this one fight took two years to make in the manga(and it's not very good or finished yet), get ready for a ton of flashbacks.
Literally every 2/3 of the chapters involve very unimportant talking or a flashback. There is almost a flashback for every instance of the fight as well.

If I hadn't taken your advice I'd still be waiting for that how kakashi became in charge of squad 7 flashback to end forever.

Then you can just read 5minutes every week and be continually ahead and just watch the fights in the anime.(which I personally gave up on after the pein fight, since that was awful in the anime).

The Classic Naruto before Shippuden was pretty good, I remember too when the show was about ninjas and now they can fly and cast spells and shit. They look more like wizards and stuff rather than ninjas now.

All i do is youtube all the fight scenes. Becuase, fight scenes. Done. Then go read the manga.
I feel like all the flashbacks are coming back to O.P (like the flashback of the fish people queen trying to unite human and fish people).... good thing fairy tail came back....
