Ideas on change...
vBulletin is far superior to that heap of trash but if it's for the best and the MPGH Overlords decide on switching then I guess that there's nothing I can do.
I may only think that because I have a really bad case of "I can't let old shit go syndrome" but I dunno, I'd still prefer to keep vBulletin

As you may have noticed, MPGH's recent issues with the speed of the forum keep persisting. We have looked at many possible solutions, but ultimately we've came to the decision that the best course of action would be to convert to a different forum board. The vBulletin forum software is poorly maintained, it often can be better optimized, full of glitches and exploits, and other forum software perform better these days. It's time to move on. There will be a minor loss in data when we convert, but mostly everything important will carry over.

Thing is, the concept of forums have evolved. vBulletin hangs onto the old system. Social Media is huge, yet vBulletin fails in every way with it. vB5 was supposed to be more modern, but it's literally so trashy that no one adopts it.
What different between the new forum and the old forum ? 
Some of the examples I've seen of Xenforo forums absolutely crap all over MPGHs current design. I think think this move will please everyone in the long run. Rocky start but we will get there.
