New Fame Exploit?

Alright, so This has been floating on Reddit/Kabam for a few days, and I figured someone here would bring it up.

That hasn't happened yet, but dammit, I wanna' know what the deal is here.

Guy gets a few God kills, a thousand monster kills, and walks away with over 100,000 fame.

I'd -love- to get 30,000 fame and just never have to worry about it again. Get my legendary pet and walk away.
Thoughts?

It wasn't himself. He said he has no idea how that account got linked to his account, and I pretty much trust him at this point because he has 1084 monster kills and 1080 quest completes. The only quest I can imagine is an XP chick, especially combined with the Boots on the Ground fame bonus. It wasn't the ghost ship exploit because finding 1080 gships and walking there with boots on the ground within 1-2 weeks when the exploit was out? That doesn't sound legit. Tl;DR: IMO XP chicks.

I'm in top20 wizards on realmeye so I've been checking the list quite often to see how I'm doing, and I've never seen the guy in there.

Either it's some ancient account that used some massive fame exploit for months and only now resurfaced, or Kabam is being retarded again... we've had Kabam employees appear on the list of legends before - only to be removed from it shortly after - and I think we're now dealing with another case of it.

I remember someone mentioning his xp may have been converted to fame
