How to play 112555 [SIMPLE][3-STEPS]

It's fairly simple:
1. Install the game: Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead (Obsolete)
2. When done installing right click on this game -> Properties -> Betas | and then Select Beta 112555 from the dropdown
3. Go to Properties -> General -> Set Launch Options | here you set your launch parameters for the required mods, for example: -mod=@DayZ_Epoch;

Now you can just launch Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead (Obsolete) and play on the old servers again

If the above doesn't work or gives errors try adding this additional step:
4. Right click on the normal Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead (In steam) -> Properties -> Betas | and change the beta option from "NONE blabla" to "beta -"

Remember launch the obsolete version and not the normal one!

Some extra parameters that are usefull:
Windowed Mode:

Code:

-window

Skip splash screen:

Code:

-noSplash

Do not pause game when alt tabbed(This will means when you tab out your game will continue playing, so having it in windowed and browser internet you could still be able things happen if a part of the window is visible)

Code:

-noPause

Multiple mods at the same time:

Code:

-mod=@DayZOverwatch;@DayZ_Epoch;

Then if you wanna launch it without steam you can just do this instead

Doesn't work for a lot of people

But with my method it doesn't use steam id, just launches with steam. So changing key still works

What do you do if it says Bad serial number given in setup? It runs fine if I use my regular ArmA2OA .exe, but I obviously can't play with that lol

Your serial key is bad ^^
Check your registery(Manually or using a key changer) because your key probably is invalid

Why even bother? Beta is over with anyways, 125548 is the current Arma 2 OA build and most stable. The 125548 has better performance then 112555 does.
Simple solution
1: verify integrity of games cache on steam operation arrowhead"right click arma OA and click local files and verify there...
2: run arma 2 and arma 2 OA again
3: go to install and update and reinstall the following
arma2, dayz, epoch and overwatch
4: restart your computer
5: enjoy

Use DayZ Commander and you are good to go.

That is true, but a lot of the big servers already updated to the newest update.
Hell even my server is updated to the newest one.

whats obsolete? q.q

steam is keep changing my key. how do i prevent that?
this new patch really sucks.

it says season lost anyone know fix?
