Patch 125548 Ban

Patch 125548 forces your first key to be used, nothing seems to stop it from doing that, and thus you will get banned if you're using a fresh key but you're banned on your old one.
You'll have to rebuy arma 2 CO and install it on a new account.

That's because your CD key is server sided since it's set by your SteamID.

True.
You would have to completely make a whole new steam account as well since servers use 3 ways to show players.
One is GUID, second is legacy GUID (Old one) and the last is Steam ID which replaces character ids.
With the new update it's even possible to check to see if the user changed his cd key or not.

There's a problem by just buying arma 2 oa. When you need to use it for bypasses it switches it's self to Battle eye and it will show that you need the actual arma 2 or it'll request it by family sharing. It's stupid.

Does that mean that the sale of stolen keys will finally die? Poor key sellers. Only 2 years too late.

It's what Battleye has always wanted! Hooray!
