Dayz Key Changer issue

So I recently wanted to start playing Day Z again, as I was bored of the SA. However, when I went to DayZ commander, the launch without steam option was no longer there due to a newer patch. When i tried to launch Dayz, change my key, then join a game, I was still left with my original Battleye ban. Any ideas / suggestions on what to do to fix this? I have ban checked the keys, and they both are clean.

That's because your CD key is now based of your steam id.

When did this get Patch? is it recently ? :I

Is there anyway to change that?

Make a new steam and buy the game again. Other than that there's nothing you can do.

Even if i bought a new key? wouldn't that leave the old registration files (which ive tried to change, btw) the same?

It's very possible it might but I'm honestly not to knowledgeable on having to change my key and all that.

Still don't know what to do.
