How to edit sprites (Pserver, or Prod)

Requirements

Sothink SWF Decompiler
Any image editing program

[1]Browse to the location of your client.swf
[2]Choose the Client you want to edit
[3]On the right hand side, expand client.swf and select Images
[4]For this tutorial lets choose Image 117
[5]After Selecting the Image you are going to export the file
[6]Navigate to the folder you exported the file to
[7]Now open the image into an image editing sofware
[8]The only Sprites I have edited are the t15 Armor, and Sword. After editing the sprites Save your image
[9]Going back the the SWF Decompiler, Right click "Image 117" and choose edit
[10]Now Click on the folder and navigate to your exported folder
[11]Select your Edited Image
[12]Click open
[13]And Finally Click save, you now have an edited sprite

Im more interested in adding new sprite sheets to the client since that adds more space and backwards compability.
Though I dont know where exactly the names for them are defined.

Has anyone else done something like that before ?

I'm guessing you're going to have to find where the items are connected to their respected sprites. Once you've got that, you can just re-direct it to a new sheet, and apply the coordinates. Easy

The items are connected to their sprites in the xml files, specifically dat20.xml. The problem is, they are connected with names like "lofiObj5" instead of the name of the image. We have to find where these 'lofiObjects' are defined.

I have been looking around within the swf, and its more complicated than that, also I'm not very familiar with Actionscript

so I wont be able to figure this out, even though i have been at it for a few hours now

I would be very interested in adding new sprites. If you find how to, tell me. Thanks.

Without the paid version of sothink this is impossible for many different reasons, including not being able to save.
