Now my power supply has a random 8 pin wire(s) thats a part of the giant bundle of wires that I assume need to be connected to something and a few more PCI cables and some SATA, Floppy, and Peripheral cables that I don't know how to use. (I believe I only need to use one PCI cable for the Video card, there was a 8 pin and 6 pin slot on the top of the video card (GTX 760) and all of my PCI cables are 6+2 pin so I used one for the 8 pin slot, not sure if I'm suppose to use a 6+2 pin on a 6 pin slot since there would be an extra 2 on the side that lead to nowhere.)
If anyone is actually serious about helping, I could actually take photos of this sloppy pile of trash I have assembled and link the build/parts I used.
Thing is, the optical drive doesn't have a SATA cable going into the motherboard. (I had 2 SATA cables and used them both for the HDD and SSD) It does however have SATA cable (or what I think is a SATA cable that connects to the power supply). Another thing is, when I turned on the power supply, the green light on the motherboard turned on, yet none of the fans started turning (they're all plugged into CHA FAN(#) slots).
Solutions?
