Hey, could someone walk me through making a really simple script?

the script i want to make is simply making the computer press the spacebar (not physically) every 5.45 seconds.
i would be really grateful is someone could guide me through the process of making the script and making it work with rotmg. (ie. opening the script and making it start)

What would be the script made with? AHK?

AutoHotKey is noob-proof and can really easily do what you want.

Micro-Simplified tutorial for your script:

Code:

Pause
Loop{
 Send, {Space}
 sleep 5450
}
F10::Pause

^ Here's an example of your script.

Code:

Loop{}

This makes your script repeat the command once it's done.

Code:

Send,

Action: button press, mouse click, etc.

Code:

{Space}

Actual action: execute what you wrote. NOTE: {Space} will output an actual spacebar press, while just Space will print out "Space".

Code:

sleep 5450

Timer: stops the script for the time written in ms.

Code:

F10::Pause

This toggles the script ON/OFF with F10 (you can freely change it).

@Zasx uhh, i fucked up.. when i double click autohotkey.ahk it gives me an error message (code syntax) and i dont know how to revert it

edit: ive tried uninstalling it and reinstalling but nothing changes

You set a time with a 5450 ms interval, then add SendKeys.Send("{Space}") in his code.
Set Timer.enabled = True in his properties and when you will launch the program it will send Space every 5.45 sec

what would be the exact code? (im not at all experienced with script commands)

also, in the visual basic folder which one out of the million do i click on to open up a script maker

ugh... i cant seem to make ahk files, they always come up in notepad at text files even though i end it with .ahk

and whenever i right click on my desktop and hover over 'New' it never says Autohotkey script even though i downloaded it and installed it like the help thing told me to do

why are computers so haaaard :(

If you created the AHK File, there should be premade stuff in that file, thats what you need

fraser just download the ability spam i made and change the sleep time...
