Why the hell isn't there a Rosetta/Philae thread going on?
This is some of the biggest news that could happen when it comes to space & science.
If you don't know what happend (TL;DR): Rosetta launched in 2004, took 10 years to get into an orbit equal to the comet's one, landed on it yesterday).

What are your guys opinions on it?

About damn time.
As someone who played KSP, I can confirm this was a damn cool mission and that OP is clueless about how rendezvous work. Oh and yes I think that's a damn waste of some good cake monies

"equal orbits" gave it away.. unless you intentionally make your tldr's inaccurate for w/e reason.
