If gaming laptops were cheaper and smaller, I'd be all for them. Whatever, opinions are opinions.

Imagine playing an FPS on a 5" laptop screen... Now that's small for you :L

You can't possibly fit a high-end powerful GPU and CPU into a tiny device ... You'd have nothing to cool the things =P

"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. The cost of one modern heavy bomber is this: a modern brick school in more than 30 cities. It is two electric power plants, each serving a town of 60,000 population. It is two fine, fully equipped hospitals. It is some fifty miles of concrete pavement. We pay for a single fighter plane with a half million bushels of wheat. We pay for a single destroyer with new homes that could have housed more than 8,000 people. This is, I repeat, the best way of life to be found on the road the world has been taking. This is not a way of life at all, in any true sense. Under the cloud of threatening war, it is humanity hanging from a cross of iron."

in my country you can find a great laptop starting at $700. Mine can handle Mw2 and plays it at 20FPS (fucky). But it can support VS2010 as well as VS2008. A friend updated his PC (Desktop), for only $300. And it's awesome, also can plays Black Ops with high quality. But a laptop costs more than a Desktop, so you can find a $1500 great easy-to-use laptop at my country. xD

Sure it is. It gets up to 42 degrees Celsius here in the summer (i.e right now) and I have no aircon in my room. So, say I want to game it up, and I only had a desktop...how am I supposed to remain cool, calm and collected while pwnzing nubz0rz? Answer: You can't. However, I CAN take my laptop out to the main air conditioned room and enjoy a lovely relaxing afternoon of gaming in front of the aircon. Tell me it ain't practical now

Not really as electricity prices have risen 12% or some shit in the last few months. Also, the heat doesn't bother me so much as my laptop.
