i had a c++ hack on my old pc and crossfire stoped working and i cant get it to work. i have a desk top now with out the C++ hack. so how can i fix crossfire on my pc

Hell, sorry guys. Between all the sports I participate, working all the time, and just trying to get out when I can is hard. So you want me to create another user with admin powers on it and then re download crossfire on it? Do you want me to uninstall on my original user?

what are you saying? Is that what @Hero said?
Doing that will make no difference...creating another user is just basically creating "2 PCs in one". But, they're all the same you know. Creating 2 users just slow your computer down 0.1%, and will do nothing to fix the error.
Go ahead and try the below method, my method, or previous @Hero's method.

That's exactly what I'm saying. If you create two users though, there's no point in reinstalling CF. Just log off on one and go on the new one.

But once you have a new user, the desktop and applications will all be different from the other computer. as what I see atleast

Yeah, but crossfire is installed onto your PC. It'll be visible to everyone.

Okay I will try this out tomorrow afternoon. I don't think this will work though. I think I'm just going to send it back to bestbuy then give it to the geek squad then see what they can do. If they can't do anything they will probably just send it back to the manufacturer for free since I have waranty for the computer. Hopefully them wiping some stuff or whatever they will do will help. But if anyone has any other ideas in the next 24 Hours, feel free. If not, i'll just send it in to Best Buy because I'm sick of not playing the game. Been since March 25th.. what a joke.

Or you could just go to your program files and run it from there. C:\Program Files\Z8Games\Crossfire\CF_G4Box.exe.

Its just to see if something is wrong with crossfire or its game files, or if its an xtrap/hgwc problem. Try it out and tell me what you see.

No, don't uninstall it.
If Crossfire is install on one user, then it's installed on all users. :/ It installed onto your system, so anyone can use crossfire within your computer...
