So you want to magically create the project from a .exe file? cool story.. but no.

No, I created it already, I just need help unpacking it out of visual basic.

Do I "Save As" cause if I do, it don't work.

Did I say Save As? Nope Save All

Do a Save All, if you haven't already. Next press Build >> Build Solution and then look in the place you saved the project in the bin >> debug folder.

take everything in that folder and test? remove manifests and such though.

Make sure that any .dlls in your "Release" folder are copied with the .exe.

1. create project
2. after ready, publish the program
3. go to the location of the program
4. Go into folder "Application Files"
5. Keep opening the folders until you get to the end.
6. Find the file with the end that has .deploy
7. Remove the .deploy, then it should be EXE.

Publishing adds an installer and all this other bullshit, may as well just build it and bob's your uncle.
