    Permanent binds?

Well I tried the shortcut method, even copying peoples target, and it did not work.
Then I tried putting my hacks into VDC.txt, and it didn't use them (even when I ran the console before the game). Were these methods patched, and if so, is there another way, or am I just doing something wrong?

This is what my VDC.txt file:
    bind KP_END "player_monster_damage_base_constant 60000"
    bind KP_DOWNARROW "plr_move_speed_sprint 1000"
    bind KP_PGDN "monster_player_damage_base_constant -80"
    bind KP_LEFTARROW "ai_reaction_delay_alert 99999"
    bind KP_5 "ai_reaction_delay_idle 99999"
    bind KP_RIGHTARROW "host_timescale 1"
    bind KP_HOME "host_timescale 2.3"
    bind KP_UPARROW "player_monster_damage_base_constant 1"
    bind KP_PGUP "player_monster_damage_base_constant 100"
    bind KP_INS "cc_fill_all_items"
    bind KP_DEL "changelevel 3"
    bind KP_ENTER "cc_change_figure_height 0.1"
    bind KP_PLUS "cc_change_figure_height 1"
    bind KP_SLASH "mp_friendlyfire 1"
    bind * "mp_friendlyfire 0"
    bind INS "cc_set_sub_weapon javelin 99"
    bind HOME "cc_set_sub_weapon handbomb 99"
    bind PGUP "cc_set_sub_weapon flashbang 99"
    bind DEL "cc_set_sub_weapon javelin_lvl2 99"
    bind END "cc_set_sub_weapon miningbomb 99"
    bind PGDN "cc_set_sub_weapon mercury_bind_bomb 99"

The only way I have permanent binds are when I enter each of those line commands into the console when I'm logged in. So far my binds are still there and have not unbinded themselves.

Some people say that going to options will automatically unbind your binds so that might be an issue too.

    Hope this helps

Yeah I got that, but I change the audio level in the options alot, and that resets the binds so... I want to be able to just copy and paste all of the commands at once or have them be permanent lol

There is a method, I can tell you that much... but unfortunately, due to the person that told me not wanting it to be public, I can't tell you.

Your best bet is just to redo it once every time. Think about how many hours of grinding you're saving already, just be thankful you have some sort of outlet at all. xD

    @HoLyNeSs
There are console commands for changing audio levels
Or you can make a macro which will type all your commands line by line into console.

It involved unpacking one of the HFS files and dumping the binds into one of the default configuration files I believe.

here you go quoted straight from the horses mouth

Or seccondary option if you do not want to use console just convert your HFS files to
.zip and then get your file FAC6B533E4D245CE8B9A67DB1472B2B98F3F54FA.zip find the .txt
file for defautlt binds and then add your binds to that and switch it back to a hfs file and bam perma
Binds nothing can get rid of them
