+9 - +12 – 40% (failing destroys item)
+13 - +15 – 33% (failing destroys item)

If you have a +8 item

+9 – 40%
+10 – 16%
+11 – 6,4%
+12 – 2,56%
+13 – 0,85%
+14 – 0,28%
+15 – 0,092%

That means that out of 100 +8's, on average, sixteen will make it to +10, six to +11 and two and a half (sic!) to +12. From there on, you better start praying to whatever god you worship.



If you have a +10 item

+11 – 40%
+12 – 16%
+13 – 5,28%
+14 – 1,74%
+15 – 0,58%

If you have a +12 item

+13 – 33%
+14 – 10,89%
+15 – 3,59%


Only 56.25% of all items will upgrade to +5 without failing.
Only 7.03% of all items will upgrade to +8 without failing.
Only 1.125% of all items will upgrade to +10 without failing.
Only 0.18% of all items will upgrade to +12 without failing.
Only 0.00647% of all items will upgrade to +15 without failing. (Lucky ******* whoever manages this).

These numbers mean that statistically you're pretty much screwed, so instead you should screw statistics and go for it.

And I seem to fail all the time trying to +11 so many attempts at +10 to +11 -sad face-
