Been botting for around 3 months now on 4 accounts. None of my accounts are banned yet.
I was reading the forums and the devs said way back in September that they would do ban waves, and that they had secret ways of knowing you are botting. Ive heard ban storys of people doing it in hub or other places that are easy to be caught, but im wondering has anybody actually gotten banned for fishing in a private club world in do not disturb mode with nobody around. can trion really tell that im botting if nobody is there to report me? if so post how they are finding out people are botting.

the ones that do it stupidly are the ones that get caught. Meaning if you keep it 1 to 2 clients and play the clients like a normal person you should be safe.
but if you run them 24/7 well they look at the login and go hmm can someone really play a game for that long with out a break?

Thanks for all the information guys. I dont know how often their "ban waves" happen, but it dosent seem like something I have to worry about.
AFAIK, they only flag accounts which transfer an unusual amount of items in a trade, accounts created with the same IP and accounts reported by players.
If you are not flagged, the chance of getting banned is zero.
I drop stuff for my main in hub or adventure world, I feel its safer than using trade window
Well trove has anti cheat now, RIP
I can't find anything that proves an anti-cheat. Can someone provide a link or a form of proof?
