For everyone asking about why OMM services were halted, here is a short answer.
OMM services were halted due to problems involving the amount of time/effort it took to middleman for trades leading to stress and resigning.
Thus new Middlemen have to be picked frequently which is a huge hassle and the trust issues with picking the right person for the job.
Side note (For all the people bitching on skype and this thread as to why MM's took forever to reply and why its a hassle "Being a MM is so easy - skids on skype)
Lets say I got 5 trade requests, only maybe on average one of those would actually take place.
At one time you would have 5 trades and 4 of them waste your time asking you to wait 15-20 minutes and then just logging off.
Most of the times I did trades it takes 30+ minutes to complete a trade no matter what it was as people decided to go slow.
Being a MM seems easy but its extremely tedious and time consuming. On top of that most people that would contact me
and would be bitchy towards me for not replying when I clearly wasn't online even though they were receiving a service for FREE that is usually paid on other sites. so for everyone bitching about mm's not being available you can blame the downies that would waste time. As for the people on skype messaging and saying being a MM is easy... On average a trade took approximately 30-40 minutes, I had 35 trades last month and multiply that by 35 minutes thats approx. 24 hours spent doing trades that actually went through. Now for every 1 trade I received I would receive 3-5 trades that would waste time and end up cancelling because they don't trust me as a MM, this would range from 15-30 minutes.
25minutes x 140 = 58 hours. That should clear it up for the people that were saying being a MM is easy and why it took so long to reply.
