Laptop for Sixth Form/16+ Education

Now that I'm in College/Sixth form I found that I'm going to require a laptop to do work on in while I am in college as the ones that they provide just aren't up to the task and are pretty slow and we are allowed to bring one in.

I'm looking for someone who can SE a Laptop (Obviously I'll be paying), any brand as long as it has a 13 inch or bigger screen and it doesn't have to be anything special. As long as it has the good battery life to at least handle 2-3 hours of work per day as well as having a decent keyboard and responsive trackpad. Oh and also can ship to the UK.
