Yes they do. Most gmod server's are VAC protected. It's just that nothing that has been made lately is VAC detected.

yeah, if anything you'll get banned by a decent anti-cheat if you don't know half of what you're doing, and also manually by admins, etc

My last account i used that hack and i got VAC but i could still join servers. the 100% VAC free people could join those servers.

When hacking or exploiting you always run the risk of being banned. It's more likely that you'll be banned by the server though since the AC is garbo.
