How did you get into Anime?

How did everyone start watching Anime?

For me personally I watched Rurouni Kenshin as a kid when my siblings introduced it to me. I also watched some Pokemon and my siblings also introduced to me Naruto. I watched it for a bit and then one day my brother started watching Fairy Tail so I also watched Fairy Tail and then we both started watching Parasyte, Tokyo Ghoul and then we caught up on a lot of the old shows like Clannad and Angel Beats and then around Summer 2016 I started getting back into the currently airing anime although I still watch old stuff too.

Only did pokemon as a kid. Left it. In the last couple months decided to dive straight into Hellsing: Ultimate and recently did One Punch man, the anime and manga for AoT/SNK, and been checking out JJBA.

I'm picky with anime.

My cousin wanted to watch some cartoons so I searched up where to watch cartoons online and found a site called AniLinkz which had cartoons and anime. I misclicked to the anime section and searched in alphabetical order. I saw an anime called "H2O: Footprints in the Sand" and I thought it was that show about mermaid girls so I clicked on it so that she could watch it. It was an anime that I ended up watching with her and enjoying it. Watched a couple more anime afterwards and stopped. Got back into anime somewhere around early 2015 or late 2014. Hooked ever since.

Was watching a TV channel that was streaming only anime in my language when I was small. I liked it way better than cartoons so I started watching them more often.

I watched Yugioh, Kenshin, DBZ as a kid and I came across DBZ memes on facebook, so I decided to watch it again for old times sake and then i started watching others and i've watched over 500 anime within the last 5 years

For me , I watched Pokemon but I never considered it as me watching anime.So my first experience was with Naruto...I think it was the Rock Lee and Gaara fight and from there I branched to One Piece and Bleach and now I am a casual viewer.
