Regarding Approvals [UPDATED]

You see a new hack get released, click on it and try to download it but receive the "Invalid attachment specified" message.
Tt hasn't been approved yet.

Requesting Approval on a thread/attachment that isn't yours will instantly land you an infraction. You also may not request someone else's thread to be moved, closed, deleted or the person banned.

Spamming threads with things like 'APPROVE PLS' and 'HURRY UP I CANT DOWNLOAD' will only make the process longer for the minions and will take longer for the attachment to be approved.

Virus Scans

You ask yourself why there are virus scans put in place, it's simple really.

Any person could plant a Virus/Trojan or any harmful content into the files they release which will be bad for anyone who downloads it.
The minions are checking the files you attached for any unwanted content before it is released to the public.

When releasing any attachments, you MUST include 2 virus scans before the minions can approve, we recommend using these virus scans:

https://virusscan.jotti.org/

The Minions

The majority of minions here have more than one section to moderate, meaning that they cannot get to approve your attachment straight away.

The easiest solution if you want your attachment to be approved is to just be PATIENT and give them some time.
Remember, the minions are humans too and they require rest like anyone else!

I hope this clears up any issues around the topic of approvals. Like I said, I know threads about this have been made before but this is updated and is targeted towards people here using the RotMG section.

There are 5 Sub-forums and each one of them has it's own rules, read the sticky threads of every section before you post in it.

I tried to make this as tidy as possible which covers the whole issue in one thread.

This is already in the stickied rules thread...? It should be stated there that infractions are being given for beggers in those cases, though.

Yes but like I said this is updated with more info, the rule section only contains one line about this issue which is still big on this section
