Is there a way to change your rank? The only thing I found (not sure if it still works) is a tool that gives you rank 1 and all achievements, hohwever I only want the rank.

You are able to modify just the rank with steam achievement manager, just go in statistics, check "i understand..." thing and modify "CamperSkulls" or "KillerSkulls" from 1 to 95 (95 is rank 1 with all pips) and then click on store, you should see a message "stored 0 achievements and 1 statistics", then just open the game

yes, it is VERY risky. Don't try it. I know a LOT of people that got banned because of achievement hacking, a dumb way to be banned but yeah.

Well, I edit my ranking all the time between 1 and 20 when I'm feeling like playing with some newbies and stuff. More than 6 months and still not banned.

Your'e most likely safe if you hack achievments BUt you need to keep your steam profile private and never ever make it public or you get a safe ban ofc.

I've been using SAM to keep my rank at a certain level for a long time without issue. Alway possible you get banned, but they're clearly not automatically scanning for it. I think if you haven't gotten the rank achievements (for rank 10, 5, and 1) you will need to unlock those if you want to make your rank past them, but just make sure you unlock the achievements in a realistic timeframe (eg don't unlock all survivor and killer rank achievements within a few minutes of each other). AFAIK the bans for achievement hacking are for people blatantly cheating by unlocking things at impossible times.

Guys, i hack achievements very often and the only important thing is WHEN you unlock certain achievements, like 2 every 1-2 days, my profile looks legit. And anyways, he intended a RANK modifier, not achievements, and he can't get banned for changing his in-game rank
