Money Is Money
WalMart Would Vanish If They Din't Fire Those 11k People
Not sure if anyones heard this, but Walmart has given their million plus US employees a bonus of $190. Which is around $266 million. However they also just started shutting Sam's Clubs down everywhere, and laid off over 11,000+ people, which most sams clubs members earn around 11 dollars an hour, this is around $252 million.
So to give their employees a raise, they get rid of 11k+ people. They could of easily afforded it and still made staggering amounts of profit. They could of done this in so many other ways than to hurt the plebeian workforce.

HAVING VIRTUAL DETOX
lol, why do this
Lol... Boo hoo. If you were a shitty worker, GOODBYE. If you actually work, here's a raise.... What's the problem? lmfao
Still kinda confused on why they firing people when they only have 5 fucking checkout lanes open at a time.

So lets go to the executive board of Walmart and tell them "Hey, lets raise their wages. Our profits will decrease. But we'll be fine. We still make profits".
They will reply with "Get out".
So what is the expectation supposed to be?
#BringWalmartToAustralia
You can be the best worker in the world, but you won't see any raises. Happens all the time at low skill jobs. Just look at the Mexicans working in the field, they work their asses off more than you probably have in your entire life yet they never see a raise.
Work effort does not always correlate with wage increase.

I really dont think there is a connection between the two
That's normal.
Happened here in Australia as well around 2016.
Woolworths bought the store Dick Smiths since 1982. They had to close all those stores around Australia and stick to online selling.
They also knocked down some of their own stores around Australia.
