Is it still worth to buy a Nintendo 3ds in 2018? I wanted to buy the new 2ds xl, but i dont really know, what do you think?

I don't care for the lame Switch, so I'd say go with the NN3DS XL/NN2DS XL. But if you must get one, get a hacked one with boot9strap on it amongst others. You'll thank yourself for it in the long run. Just make sure it's not banned online.

Just get the modded one & fill the sd cards with games at least 64gb, better than nintendo switch in terms of library even though the resolution is outdated. Right now I still play it.

A 3DS is worth it if you are able to get custom firmware. Nintendo has kinda shut down the app that allowed people to download games straight from their servers, but you can easily find roms online and install those.

This is the only answer. Especially if you can get one that is able to have custom firmware loaded.
