Can anyone simplify model swap to me? I have everything and I'm not new to modding but I don't know which files to rename and some files don't even have the PVMLA as others do? If someone could please simplify it I'd be very very greatful.
You.. could probably rename them? But the easiest thing to do is go download a hexedit program more then likely when you try to run it it will say your missing a DLL Download that DLL and copy and paste it into your System32 Folder in your C-Drive.
Now as far as modding this is what i do.
Keep all your files seperate it makes it easier to work.
Lets say you want to make your.. M16 into a mac10?
Go to your Assault rifle file (Extracted files)
In the top right corner it says search. Type in M16.
Alright now you should see only m16 files.
Copy and paste all of those either to your desktop or to another new folder.
Now go to your Submachine gun Folder ( extracted files )
And search for Mac10.
You should see only the mac10 files.
Now take the Mac10 Anibase (if you installed hex edit already) And right click it.
Press open with hex edit.
Go to your desktop or newfolder and get those M16 files.
Drag them into the hex edit program.
Scroll back some in that program and find the Mac10 Code. Copy it then paste it to ALL of the m16 files in the hex edit program. its going to ask you 1-2 questions click (yes,ok) or whatever the fuck it says.. and keep moving down the line till you hit the end. Close hex edit click (yes) for all the files you just edited. And inject those M16 files into your Guns_M_PV file.. Dont forget to rename the file once you injected it.

Why do you think i came here? Because i couldn't understand your cross-mod tutorial for shit. No offence but this guy helped me much more and i just made an m16 to mp7 mod cross-mod. If you can top that go ahead otherwise, :P.
