Best options for file storage and backups

So currently i'm looking to find the best way to save my files in the cloud, and to make a backup of some files on my PC.
I've tried 2 options where i could get my hands on using the Marketplace on MPGH.

I've tried Google Drive (unlimited storage with .edu email) but the desktop program syncs all the files on your local drive. So that's actually not cloud based storage if you use their sync option as a backup.

I've also tried OneDrive (5TB storage with a business account) that's part of office 365. This program offers files to be stored only in the cloud, but are still accessable in Windows File Explorer. For me, it doesn't work with big files (speed problems) and syncing files from another drive on my pc where OneDrive isn't installed.

So my question is: Are there any good alternatives available (at the MPGH Marketplace) at low costs?

If you have a google drive edu email you can use Google File Stream (i'm new so can't link directly to it) rather than the Google Drive app on Windows or Mac. Unlike the drive app you can set it up to not keep any copies actually on your PC.
