Hi I also am interested. I know c++ and alot of differnet types of web programming, i know some java, I know php, javascript.

I just don't have hacking experience and I would say it's very hard.

I know what hacking is.. It's somewhat the same thing as breaking in a house, the targeted house (computer) the more security that house(computer hint hint) the harder it is to break in.

I am trying to learn how I can read source files of a program so I can hack it. I just don't understand right now how you guys go about doing this.

how do you find source codes. I am trying to hack a web app.

and would like to know how you can find it's weakness.

I already been studing my target. I know that datatel is the one that created this program and it's a java app.

Now I just need my hands on some source code. I do have 2 or 3 files that are java files that I was able to download from the web server I can open and read them I am also looking at the cookies but found out it's encrypted.

I just don't know how it's storing it's data.

any ideas/tips you can give me??
