A silent voice's manga is better than your name for sure. The movie however cut out a lot of the manga to fit into a movie. Understandable for sure but they took out the arc where all the side characters are developed .

personally i think both of them have very different concepts. A silent voice is kind of realistic anime while you name has an element of fantasy

Kimi no nawa is better in my opinion. I didn't enjoy the silent voice as much,altho it was good.

I only watched the first 30 mins of Kimi no Na Wa. I did finish A Silent Voice, however, so I guess I'll go with that.

Silent Voice Manga 90% much better than Movie Animation as we do have a conclusive ending unlike the Movie Animations which is just the tip of the Ice Berg. Kimi no nawa Nailed it as it is the top grossing animated Japanese film of all time, BGM's, Animations, CV. all are in harmony this is what you get for a High Budget films. It lets you win Awards.

Kimi no Na Wa is a better movie for sure. Although the Koe No Katachi manga is so fucking good. Amazing story.But the movie didn't adapt it that good.

if it comes to directing, I think its definitely Your Name, the entire thing about it is just very beautiful. For story on the other hand, I enjoyed Koe no Katachi's more
