windows 10 blue screen of death

I know wrong section idk where to post about it, but i was curious if someone knows how to fix it. Youtube videos don't work and i sent the computer for repair today and they're saying it's the motherboard but wont know exactly until monday.

did it come suddenly or after installing something?

it might be a faulty component, i had some RAM being the cause of it, some corrupted windows installation being the cause of it
if you overclock and dont set the voltages etc correct it can also cause a BSOD

yeah it randomly just happened 1 year of it working then during a league match boom blue screen and it wont even let me factory reset or anything. I feel like it's windows 10 and the repair guy said it was my mother board. But he checked my ssd's and whatever so i don't know what it could be maybe the motherboard?

Probably faulty RAM. If you can borrow RAM from a friend try and test it.

did it show some kind of error code or message?

usually its best to disconnect all devices that are not absolutely necessary in order to start the PC so you can rule out a hardware defect
thats what the guy in the shop is most likely doing right now

If you have more than 1 ram stick in it, remove 1 and try playing. If it fails, try the other ram stick.
It can be a broken motherboard, but if that's the situation, your problems should be worse than only a BSOD.
Old Samsung laptop I had went total rip, couldn't start. Problem: Motherboard was rip.

So I'd suggest removing every "extra" component, like ram for example. You could also buy 8gb ram for testing, and return it if you want.

Are you able to reproduce the bluescreen?

If so, then
type event in the search mask next to the windows symbol in your left corner after your pc crashed.
Open the app and look after critical events in the local tab.

Is there any event saying kernel power in the source? Could be a power problem as well.

nope just says repair the problem when trying it sends you back to the same page and it wont even let you factory reset or anything

@niggo @DragonyCat @Solaris Was probably the ram replaced it and seemed to be fine. Put in the old once and blue screened. But just incase i did replace the motherboard too.

hmm faulty ram is indeed a rare sight

if you still had warranty you might be able to get a new kit by claiming warranty
