Just replace these rez files with the original Guns_T_PV_Melee and the Guns_M_PV_Melee and make extra copies of the original files to make it back to the original knife. If you get DC ed change the compatibility mode to xp or vista (either server packs) and that should at least prevent it from DC ing quickly.
