    you don't have to have photoshop. you can change an avi to a gif.

    If you don't want to download, and just wanna put pictures together (that are of the same dimensions)
    then use:

    Picasion - Create GIF animations online - Get images from Picasa Web or Flickr

    basic shit
    If not, then i highly recommend Jasc Animation Shop (look at mCubed's post)
