Why are teachers so hypocritical?

Well, I was in french class today and I was just humming to a song in my head, The class was being really loud talking. And I was minding my own business, Sitting there. She walks up to me and says "Stop". And kicks me out, I put her on the spot and point out she's clearly dislikes me, And we have a huge debate. When our class gets dismissed my home room teachers tells me to stay in the class. 5 minutes later the teachers swarm in and start explaining that I have no right to be arguing with a teacher. I asked why do they have a right, But you guys do. And guess how they responded?

"Because we are older than you".

Then when the conversation between me and the teachers were over, The one who started this all said, " I think he should not play the next 5-6 hockey games. ".
And they all agreed.
