the effects really dont go with a wartime render. the wash of colours dont contrast the render well. but its a great effect but use it to a more colourfull render. but good job still

i was going to make it more washed out to represent a old photo say form a war or something

ps- washout is good idea, its too focused and sharp to blend well with the render

learn photoshop it is totally easy and worth it use a tut maybe to get started then basic brushes then c4d then filters
