Error Ingame (not hack wise, legit way)

One of my best friends who's been playing crossfire as long as i Have has lately have had a problem with staying in rooms. His character begins to seem in a lag phase and seems to be running on the same spot like if hes in a treadmill which last about 10 seconds. Then he freezes up for about 3 seconds which during that freezing phase only his legs are moving and the character's breathing is seenable forming like a flying hat. which then causes him to get an error. the error says failed to connect to hosting sever. Which then boots him to the lobby. Any idea or any method to help him out? I would really appreciate the help and him too.

mm i'll have to find out his connection speed (any ideas hwo i can ^^') but i know hes in LA so thats pst side of america.

It means his internet and speed connection is really slow.

Mmm is there any possible way to adjust that? We've been playing for a long time but this problem has just happened around a week and a half ago.

It can be a lot of things. Graphics Crashing CrossFire, Internet going Down, problems with selected server hoster connection and his, if he have a Router Modem, this can be a problem, Anti-Virus blocking some kind of connection with his internet, IDK, you should check this in Z8Games Support. Sure u'll get better help.

Try changing servers.

It may be his ISP (Internet Service Provider)
Tell him to check his Internet Speed... : Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test
If it's around 1-3MB then it's his internets speed.
If his disconnecting from other stuff like msn, other games... Then it's his ISP.

he is using a router modem o.o and he tried other severs doesn't work either mm hes internet is pretty good he checked it not that either as for graphics maybe not too sure on that.

You should check something related to CrossFire's Ports that might get unblocked to play. Google it ... (this is a verb?)

well =.= the problem was resolved in the most easiest yet stupidest method ever that i never though would work. -.- He reseted his modem and now its working like a charm. =.= i ram him into the wall for that one =.=...problem sovled =.=.
