How did you learn?
I've been trying to learn visual basic but having alot of trouble. I have been reading and watching everything i can find. How did some you learn? Also any tips or recommendations would be awesome!

Rad a bit so u know what ur into, but the real progress goes by practicing.
Just taught myself by starting a project I wanted, then googling anything I didn't understand how to implement. The easiest way to learn (IMO) is not through books (though they do help to consolidate your technical knowledge) but by creating yourself a goal to achieve (i.e a program you want for your own use) and then going out and getting the knowledge required to complete the project.
I started by making simple little projects use youtube and google for any help that you need and that should get you pretty far 
Exactly how Jason did except I've started to read books now ! It is the right time for me to do it ;P

Don't copy code's from internet / youtube but look at how its done and try to make your own coded version.
It's just like school.
Overwrite something for like a test and you wont learn shit.
Just try to make program's and debug everytime you finish a code to check it.

I learned mostly by fixing errors that way you have to look at your code carefully and learn what that function does and how to fix the errors so you learn
Same way Jason did really. Never read any books.
some friends already used it for a while so i taked a look at it, and now i'm using it about 2 years or so ;P
