    I wish some of the people in this thread would read Alen's and Iverson's replies.

    No.
    If that could happen, you wouldn't be able to turn off your pc.

    @OP there is a thing called minimum operating temperature for electronics, but that mostly has to do with battery powered devices, although theoretically i think it is possible to lower the temperature too much on a PC, to the point where electricity isn't able to pass through components because there are no moving atoms (absolute zero)
    That's almost impossible.
    If im not wrong that's like -1,000 or more C Degrees.

    @iverson954360

    We'll never reach true absolute zero and I thought conductivity rose with lowering temperatures?

    -273.15°C, common knowledge.

    It's on/in the heatsink constantly, unless you're talking about saving ln since it can get pricey for constant use

    Would you do it if you were super rich and if anything goes wrong you can replace it and build a new computer?

    I'm neither super rich nor do things often go wrong and I'm using LC

    LC isn't that "extreme" tbh, it's just a bit more fancy than air cooling.

    Home made ftw. The cost skyrockets when you need to by quality waterblocks (luckily I kinda know the guy that runs EK, so I got it a tad cheaper )

    Conductivity does increase but at Absolute Zero it won't be able to conduct
