this mod is pretty cool but requires steam

i didn't remove steam code.
why? i'm not a cracker. besides..... i don't want to get in trouble.

i made this client as part of my project to learn C# and i made it thinking off drawing content on custom servers by admins. that's why it uses the most sendtilesquare so tmod and tshock can detect it.( well... not so much anymore lol)

well.. is really the first thing i ever coded so some features still buggy. i wont take the whole credit for this. i actually borrowed some code from known clients and improved it. i mean, there's no point on reinventing the wheel specially if I'm not getting any profit from it. besides is nothing i wouldn't have done eventually.

this client works with an interface on screen so there's only 4 on the keyboard you need to know about

1 - right click clears selection
2/3 - UP and DOWN arrows control the selsize
4 - middle mouse controls noclip. press space to stop it
5/6 arrows LEFT and RIGHT controls the circle inclination


how to use:


- 1 - select a drawing mod.

- editmode

works like tmod used to do but now you can make triangles and circles

- Brush

brush works like normally placing tiles. except that now you can increase the selsize or selection area. and it does not modify any weapon

-anchor

it basically anchors the selection controlled by selsize


- 2 - select shape
note:
optionally you can change the position of the shape around the selection.




- 3- select brick-mode or misc or furniture mode or wall-mode

brick-mode only selects bricks

furniture mode only selects furniture

misc select the other tiles

wall-mode select walls


brick-mode and misc cant be used together nor furniture mode.

-4- click on (fill all | fill in | outline)

how it works:


select and area and click on the kind of tile inside the selection that you want to delete.

same goes for walls.

this feature is really good to get rid of crap without delete other important stuffs BUT.

after selection is complete...
be careful where you click!

i fixed a lot of bugs too and the selection no longer makes water.

warning :
only works offline.
copy and paste mod are still buggy. i haven't figure out what the problem is. i think there's more than one problem and all of them involving my archenemy: math.
it doesn't work most of the time but when it does, its very cool. i don't recommend using it yet. if you know how to solve the problem don't hesitate to tell me your input would be the most appreciated


notes:
this mod intended to be use by admins so if you gonna use it for griefing don't spec the thing to work correctly.

btw dont ask either about the button colors lol

no man, i dont want too use mod with steam coz my steam accout mybe blocked, my account allready was bloked 5 month ago coz i am using modifed minecraft mod.

plz pm me if you got without steam version, you have best mod ever, but with steam no one need it coz its scary.

For including the Content folder.

Even though the steam code is still there people could mod yours to get rid of it, to be safe. If I were you I'd remove the 'Content' Folder from the download. I love your work and don't want anything bad to happen to make you stop. Thanks

Technically he can't get in trouble for that, since:
1. He isn't selling the mod for profit.

and

2. Redigit already announced that he doesn't really care if people mod the client. As long as they don't sell it for profit without Re-Logic's Approval.

What do you mean scary? o.o All my games work just fine and the mod. I am also currently working on a mod for Terraria (Dantedom inspired me ) I use it on my steam account to run when I'm not coding and I have no problems

An I also have many mods for my other games like GMOD TF2 Portal Those Shiz

ill be updating the file later on to fix a few bugs and add some tiles to the recipes i forgot to add, and better organized recipes. and maybe some new features: undo/redo, add lava, fixed the add water, with a deleting style like the actual. also a fix for a missed click that deletes everything. which is why im trying to make the "undo/redo" thingy.

what you mean fix it online, the only thing that doesnt work online is copymode
whichs by the way. whoot!! i just found how what the problem was lol. silly me i was always assuming xy was the center.

ill have everything working online soon and a undo/redo feature that im working on it.

copy mode wont be able to copy certain tiles while online but i guess it will work fine offline same goes for undo/redo. until i figure it out.

why do you need a tile id? my mod doesnt work with tiles ids, works with types and thats just part of the recipes

awesome but can you send me the tile ids as my client i'm working on has will have edit mode and other stuff but when i try use any tile ids it give me wrong tile like when i want dirt i get diamond and when i want wood i get stone so if you can please send me your tile ids also my game keeps crashing when entering server please fix it

thats the thing i dont use a list of ids, my mod uses the type number from the recipe. if you go to item.cs and search everything that has this.createtile or this.createwall youll find the the info you need. convert the hex to decimal if you want to read it better.
