tools needed in making a hack???

Guys I want to learn making hacks cause I want to help the CFPH section... Now I need to know what tools are needed in hacking crossfire cause I might waste my time in learning C++ because the tools are not compatible in my OS by the way my OS is windows XP SP2.. I am planning to install the tools needed before learning C++ and I hope the tools are compatible in my OS.....

First of all:
You need Microsoft Visual C++ Express Edition from here:
Visual C++ 2010 Express | Microsoft Visual Studio
You can programme with that tool in C++ (exe, dll etc..)
That tool should be compatible with Windows 2000 or higher I think
But I recomme you to learn C++ first b4 making any hacks

Google for "Windows XP Service Pack 3", download it (It is a very big file)
And install it, close all other programmes. This is a veery big update of your system and could take about 1 hour to install it.

Yup, solved is solved.
Keep learning tutorials, ask questions A LOT. It's needed if your ever stuck. Don't hesitate to PM Philong or another coder that knows his/hers stuff.
Take time when reading. Don't skip anything, every information is vital and important sometime in your coding time.
