    Toggleable Grid mod 1.2 - terraria 1.0.6.1

    this mod measures the width and height of the square and in the right down corner shows the total of tiles.
    and the rules well... they are rules. add as many as you want!

    how to install:
    save the image file "Grid.xnb" in
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\terraria\Content\Imag es"

    save the "Terraria.exe" file in
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\terraria\"

    how the grid work:
    click on "grid" button to turn the mod on.
    select 2 points on the screen to draw a square.
    middle mouse button also does the same things as "Clear Grid "button on the interface.

    how the Rules work:
    click on "Rules" button to turn the mod on. then same as above select 2 points in the screen to draw a rule this time.
    important!:
    after you draw a rule and you want to draw an additional rule you must "Right Click" on the screen before adding another.
    "undo" button deletes the last rule and "clear rules" button deletes them all.



    special thanks to Leish from terraria forums, she/he came up with the idea of the grid first and i just implemented it, i had half the code done so.. is just too much of a good idea.
    i added the rules afterwards.

    i thought that a rule and a grid are 2 different things indeed but both useful. the rules are helpful to visualize a project and the grid for building in general.

    i didn't obfuscate the code this time so feel free to take. I'm just warning you. my coding abilities are in their infancy so is messy.

    What you need next for this is a Fill option. Select a brick/background from the hotbar. After you make your grid, add the option to fill. If nothing is selected in the hotbar or the fill choice in the hotbar is invalid for building, the selected section gets deleted instead (brick's/background/trees etc). (send packets for axe, pick, hammer for each pixel that occupy's grid.)

    More functionality would be to "fill" the edges only as an option too.
