PC Gaming vs Console Gaming?

I honestly don't know if I should spend money on a gaming rig, or buy a normal desktop and just use my console for gaming. I've compiled a short list as I'm interested in other people's opinion on what to do.

=====PC Gaming=====
*Pros
-Easier controls/more customizable
-Way better graphics + Gameplay
-Able to type in all games
-Easier to mod games, record etc
-Mouse = easier to aim in fps
-Able to get free games via cracking
-Able to multitask while gaming like music, internet etc

*Cons
-Hackers ruin the multiplayer experience (not just in f2p games)
-Requires hardware upgrade to constantly keep up with new games
-Can't return/trade games in....
-Not as much players online as compared to consoles

=====Consoles (PS3)=====
*Pro's
-Able to work good on a big TV
-No hardware upgrades necessary
-More players online
-More selection of games (I believe)
-Able to trade in games
-No hackers (or rarely any)

*Cons
-Graphics is limited
-Uncustomizable controls
-Harder to aim in FPS games (Because sensitivity isn't constant e.g if you move your pc mouse slow, your cursor will generally move slower but if you move your analog stick slow it will still move at the same sensitivity speed)
-Very tempting to bite the analog stick / masturbate it

Given this hypothetical situation, what would you do?

Ill take computer Gamming i always had good hardware will keep to do so besides consoles have been giving me nothing but problems...

Who cares about the number of players.
There are always enough people to play with.
Why would you return those new games, assuming you want a gaming rig.
And in some other thread, you said you had 32GB of RAM or 16GB of RAM.

PC
in mw3 atm, every mode has +3k players
tdm has 10k+
so no problems finding a game.

Console Gaming FTW..
PROS:
*Exclusive games..

*Hot controllers in Bundles..
*Better Online Modes.

Console Gaming: It's just so fuckin boss & my cpu can't run games like MW3/BF3 so FUCK that.

It's really all a matter of preference. Consoles vs PCs have their pros and cons. Btw, most screens today come with an HDMI connection, making it compatible with any recent graphics card. A controller or a mouse really doesn't make a difference, because if you know how use a controller properly, you'll be just as good as any PC gamer. In terms of the online community, I really don't know. Xbox has a really nice interface, but so does a PC. But I guess the greatest limitation of consoles is the inability to upgrade the hardware.

Overall, I would recommend a PC. IF you can afford it.

Well, i'm switching to console with the next gen, with either one that has keyboard+mouse support, ill keep the console for 2-3 years then i'm switching to pc again

Personally i think it should be about where all your friends are at. I love gaming on a pc but it also helps to have my gaming crew to play with. I had an xbox and I got sick of having to play COD because that's all anyone played.

i have both,so cares.
