Cheat engine detected/undetected (I am confused!!!)

Hi guys, searching the web i found many information about cheat engine! Seeing forums topics and/or simply asking people i knew the " undetected cheat engine" You too guys talks about this version!
And searching deepest in the web, (because by searching you can learn) i found 3 different versions of cheat engine and a program named TortoiseCvs.
Do you know this tortoise things and if this is useless how can i use an hexeditor without being seen by punkbuster? I have experience whit tsearch but its detectable easily! How can i use an hexeditor undetectable?
I have 1 thing left to ask then i stop. Change the .ase files can make the weapons of warrock available and useful even whit no promo?

ASE files are ASCII Exports. Basically they are static mesh effects files. Editing them will not give you any promo weapons, they aren't even related.

As far as an undetected Cheat Engine, I will get back to you. The one I'm using is private, maybe one of the other members will give you one. If not, I'll see what I can do.

I believe he's misusing the term hex editor. He probably means programs in the vein of Tsearch and CE. For the record, logica, hex editors are used to edit FILES, not search for values in running programs. Also, I prefer Tiny Hexer to Hex Workshop.

As magikbullet said, undetected versions of CE are usually private (which is why they remain undetected), but I'll PM you a link to two public ones that might work.

Is there a specific name for those types of programs (CE, Tsearch, etc.)? I've always just said "programs like CE", but there must be something better to call them.
